IPL 2024: Predicting Punjab Kings’ Playing XI for their clash against Royal Challengers Bengaluru

The Punjab Kings (PBKS) are all set to lock horns against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) for the 58th game of IPL 2024, which is slated to take place on May 9 at the iconic Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala. Notably, the side is in the eighth spot on the points table with just four wins and seven major losses in the 11 games they have played so far in the tournament.However, BKS will be looking to dominate the RCB in their next game.

Openers: Jonny Bairstow and Prabhsimran Singh

Prabhsimran Singh and Jonny Bairstow are set to be the openers for the Punjab Kings in the upcoming clash. Notably, Prabhsimran Singh is looking in magnificent form and really batting well at the top of the order. On the other hand, wicketkeeper batter Jonny Bairstow is also looking in great form, and he will be looking to forge a stand with Singh in the upcoming clash.

Batters: Rile Rossouw, Jitesh Sharma, Shashank Singh, and Ashutosh Sharma

Meanwhile, Shashank Singh seems to be in brilliant form and batting greatly in the middle order. Ashutosh Sharma may get a chance to bat in the lower order.

All-rounders: Liam Livingstone and Sam Curran

England star cricketers Liam Livingstone and Sam Curran are the two important all-rounders in Punjab Kings camp, and both are responsible for picking up a few wickets as well as having the responsibility to boost the lower order. Meanwhile, left-arm pacer Sam Curran is also batting at the top of the order some times and also leading the side in the absence of Dhawan.

Bowlers: Harshal Patel, Kagiso Rabada, and Arshdeep Singh
