In this article, we will discuss the IPL 2024: Predicting Gujarat Titans’ Playing XI for their clash against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The IPL is now in the second half of the tournament and everything and tomorrow will be the first clash between the Gujarat Titans and the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. These two teams might not have played a lot of games against each other since the Titans are still a relatively new side. However, they will still feel great that they have the edge over the men in red in the 3 games they have played against each other.
Speaking of both these teams in the competition The Gujarat Titans still have a chance to qualify for the semi-finals and they will be happy to be facing a struggling RCB side this season. However while RCB went on to win a game against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, the Titans fell short by 4 runs against the Delhi Capitals in the last game. It will be interesting to see what kind of playing XI they will have going forward against RCB on their home turf.
Predicted playing XI for the Gujarat Titans’ next game:
1. Wriddhiman Saha(wk)-
Saha has proven in the last match that he can still play the attacking style of cricket he is known for. He has been doing a great job for GT at the top and it does not make sense to drop him after the last game’s performance.
2. Shubman Gill(c)-
The GT captain might have not had the best of games last match but he will be looking to make a difference against this team against whom he has enjoyed playing. We can surely expect another great knock from him.
3. Sai Sudharshan-
Sai Sudharshan has been one of the consistent run scorers for Gujarat this season. His innings was the one that kept the 2022 champions in the hunt in the game. There is no reason that he will be an important player in the upcoming game.
4. Azmatullah Omarzai-
The all-rounder might have not reached his peak this season, but he still has a lot of potential to show and with his ability with bat and ball he is certainly a handy player for GT going forward in the tournament.
5. David Miller-
David Miller is no doubt one of the best players in the GT side and proved that in the last game. The South African has finally found some form and will be dangerous against any bowling attack on his day.
6. Abhinav Manohar-
With Shahrukh Khan failing to perform in the opportunities he has got it wouldn’t be a surprise if GT go for one of the upcoming talents in Abhinav Manohar. This could be a change they will be looking forward to.
7. Rahul Tewatia-
Rahul Tewatia might have failed to finish the last game he played, but there is no way you can leave him out completely. Tewatia still could surprise any team under pressure and will be one of their important batters down the order.
8. Rashid Khan-
Rashid Khan is still a key player for Gujarat with the ball and sometimes with the bat. This might not be one of his best seasons, but he can still come good against any opponents he is up against.
9. Noor Ahmad-
Noor has still been brilliant this season and he will still cause problems for the RCB batters who have had problems against spin in this tournament. We hope the youngster can have another great match to prove himself completely.
10. Mohit Sharma-
The last game might have been slightly underwhelming for the veteran pacer but there is no doubt that he will still be an important player in the setup with his variations and ability to bowl at the death.
11. Sandeep Warrier-
He was comfortably the best bowler in the GT side and it is only fair to give him another game. Warrier’s impressive performance last game will surely give him the confidence to be a regular pick in the side this season.
impact – Ravisaran Sai Kishore-
Sai Kishore is still a talented left-arm spinner and should be used as an impact sub in the next game. He can also give you some handy runs with the bat when needed. There is no doubt he can be the surprise factor on the side.
