IND-W vs AUS-W 2025: Most wickets in ODI series (Top 3)

While India won the second game, setting a world record, Australia won the series 2-1, dominating the first and third games.

Batter dominated the three-match series with very little for the bowlers. Only the second WODI proved to be the bowlers’ paradise, as the first and third encounters saw batters rule the roost.

1. Krant Goud- 5

Kranti Goud of India topped the most wickets chart in the recent India Women vs Australia Women three-WODI series. Her five wickets in three WODIs came at an economy of 5.83 and best bowling figures of 3/28. Goud raised her game with the new ball to give India hope in the absence of Pooja Vastrakar and Shikha Pandey, with the Women’s World Cup 2025 knocking the doors.

Goud’s best bowling of 3/28 came as India defended 292 runs, which was led by Smriti Mandhana’s 117-run knock. Goud gave India the perfect start, removing the Australia captain Alyssa Healy for nine runs in 19 balls. She then accounted for Georgia Wareham for 10 runs and Megan Schutt for a duck as India won by a record 102 runs.

2. Megan Schutt- 5

Megan Schutt, the experienced Australia pacer, led the way for the visitors in both of their WODI wins in the series. Overall, Schutt picked five wickets in three games with the best bowling of 2/45 with an economy of 6.59.

Schutt took 2/45 in the first WODI as India were bowled out for 281/7 in 50 overs. Schutt took the wickets of Harleen Deol (54) and Richa Ghosh (25), as Australia managed to keep India under 300 runs. In the third ODI, while chasing 412 runs, Schutt hurt India with 2/53, with wickets of Harleen Deol and Sneh Rana.

3. Kim Garth- 4

Kim Garth picked four wickets in two games she played for Australia against India in the recent WODI series. Her four wickets came with an economy of 6.57 and best bowling figures of 3/69. In the first game in Mullanpur, Garth had picked just 1/56.

However, her best bowling of 3/69 came as Australia defended 412 runs. Garth gave an early shock, dismissing Pratika Rawal for 10 runs. And then came back in the middle overs to dismiss the well-set Harmanpreet Kaur, who had made 52 runs. Her final wicket was Renuka Singh, who made two runs.
