The Dunk-Hope duo can provide a quick fiery start to the team and they are also capable of converting a quick start into a big total. So, this would be a perfect opening choice for the Capitals in their next clash against the Gulf Giants. 

Middle Order:

The middle-order of the Dubai Capitals will start with the number three batter Khalid Shah followed by star batter Gulbadin Naib at the number four. Notably, Naib played the match-winning knock of 78 runs off just 51 runs, hitting three fours and five sixes. 

Following Shah and Naib, Najibullah Zadran and Rovman Powell could also hit some quick runs in the middle and death overs to help the side post a big total on the board. So, this quartet is expected to be the core middle-order for the Capitals against the Giants. 

All-Rounders:

Speaking of the all-rounders for the Capitals, skipper Sikandar Raza and former Sri Lanka skipper Dasun Shanaka would be the perfect choices to be picked in the playing XI. The Capitals’ bowling attack will consist of Haider Ali, Dushmantha Chameera, and Obed McCoy. The trio was quite useful in the last game against the Vipers. Haider Ali bowled the most economical spell of the game, conceding only 17 runs in his four overs and scalping a wicket. 

Dushmantha Chameera scalped 3 wickets at 26 runs in his 2.5 overs. Besides these two, Obed McCoy also bowled quite an economical spell for his side, scalping a wicket at 20 runs in his three-over stint. So, the Capitals will eye going with the same bowling trio in their playing XI against the Giants.
