In cricket, partnerships are crucial because they allow you to create innings, divide the effort, and use your partner’s talents and shortcomings. The top five ODI cricket partnerships in women’s cricket are listed below.

After their outstanding performance against Ireland in 2017, Indian opening batters Deepti Sharma and Punam Raut shattered the record for the highest partnership in ODI cricket. With their partnership of 320 runs, the openers provided India with an encouraging start, which ended when Deepti Sharma was bowled. The third-highest individual ODI score ever was recorded by Sharma with a score of 188, and Raut hit 109 runs before being forced off the pitch due to an injury. India won the game by 249 runs because the openers helped them reach 358.

2. Amelia Kerr and Leigh Kasperek, New Zealand vs Ireland

Black Caps batters Amelia Kerr and Leigh Kasperek hold the record for the second-highest women’s ODI partnership. Incidentally, it’s also the highest second-wicket partnership. After their stunning performance against Ireland in 2018, they attained this record. Leigh Kasperek and Amelia Kerr put up an incredible 295-run partnership after the first wicket fell. Kasperek scored 113 runs, and Kerr recorded the best individual score of 232 in just 145 balls. And to cap it all off, Kerr took 5 wickets to help New Zealand win by 305 runs.

3. Tammy Beaumont and Sarah Taylor, England vs South Africa

Tammy Beaumont and Sarah Taylor, the English duo, are third on the list of the highest ODI cricket partnerships. This followed their remarkable batting performance against South Africa in the 2017 World Cup game, where they put together a 275-run partnership in just 249 balls. Beaumont and Taylor had an outstanding inning after the first wicket was taken, with Beaumont scoring 148 runs off 145 balls and Taylor scoring 147 runs off just 104 balls. The pair’s collaboration helped the English team win easily by 68 runs.
