The English team could not get past the Super 6 stage in the 2024 Under-19 World Cup as they finished fourth in the table and got knocked out of the race to the semi-finals. Tazeem Chaudry Ali

The 17-year-old talented leg-spinner is a find of this tournament for England. The young leggie took 14 wickets in just 4 matches proving his potential on the big stage. His most impressive performance came against Zimbabwe when he picked up 7 wickets in Potchefstroom. Along with this he also picked up 3 wickets against formidable South Africa and West Indies. This was an ordinary campaign from England but Tazeem’s performance is a big positive for them. 

Ben McKinney

The English batters could not accumulate a huge amount of runs which also emerged as a major reason behind their underwhelming performance in the 2024 Under-19 World Cup. However, there were still a few notable players who showcased their skills in the tournament. Noah Thain

The 19-year-old right-handed Noah Thain is another batter who caught the attention of fans and pundits. He delivered his best batting performance against the hosts South Africa who were the eventual semi-finalists when he played an unbeaten 63-run knock to contribute to his team.
