Heat batted first in this match as well but this time it was a much better performance and they scored 214 runs in the first innings. 

When Adelaide came into bat, they struggled a lot and eventually crumbled for 160 runs. With this convincing victory, Brisbane booked their place in the final. 

Brisbane Heat vs Melbourne Stars, Group Stage

This was probably the most comprehensive performance from Brisbane Heat in the group stage. It was the initial stage of the tournament when Brisbane clashed with Melbourne Stars and completely outfoxed the opposition. 

Batting first Heat went beyond the 200-run mark courtesy of Colin Munro’s 99-run knock. In the end, Brisbane won the match by a huge margin of 103 runs because of the outstanding bowling effort in the second innings.
