Babar Azam had a brilliant 2025 tournament, scoring 678 runs in 15 matches at an average of 56.50 and a strike rate of 136.41, including one hundred and eight fifties, showcasing the consistency he has throughout those innings as well. His adaptability, depending on the match scenario, was exemplary, and his flair against any bowler, especially in the powerplay, was evident throughout the tournament. Babar was extremely valuable for Zalmi, in every game and situation he was in, whether it be creating a platform for a chase or anchoring the run chase from the beginning, was a major factor in the consistency at the top of the order and need for his performances that lead his team to some success throughout the season.
