Asia Cup 2025: Predicting UAE XI for match 7

United Arab Emirates (UAE) will face Oman in the 7th match of the Asia Cup 2025 on Monday, September 15, 2025, at the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

UAE lost their first match to India as they were bowled out for just 57 runs, which India chased down in only 4.3 overs. UAE will need to defeat Oman in this match, and possibly by a big margin, as their net run rate took a huge hit after the loss to India.

Waseem is UAE’s leading run-scorer in T20Is, with 2941 runs at a strike rate of 154.87 in 83 matches, including three centuries and 23 fifties, with a best score of 112. Sharafu has 1271 runs at a strike rate of 132.94 in 54 T20Is, including nine half-centuries and a best score of 90*. Zohaib, still early in his career, has scored 264 runs at a strike rate of 103.12 in 13 T20Is.

Rahul Chopra has been reliable behind the stumps and handy with the bat, scoring 603 runs at a strike rate of 118 in 30 T20Is, including four half-centuries and a best score of 80. Asif Khan has 1300 runs at a strike rate of 139.03 in 54 T20Is, with six fifties and a best of 79. Harshit Kaushik has played just four T20Is, scoring 24 runs so far.
