Rajat Patidar is one of those names who finally got his opportunity to wear the Indian jersey after years of hard work in domestic cricket. The next Test is crucial for the Indian team and the management would like to play in-form KL Rahul in place of Rajat Patidar. 

KL Rahul brings experience to the table

Another reason behind Rajat Patidar’s exclusion can be his inexperience. Already team India is missing senior players like Virat Kohli and in these circumstances, an experienced player like KL Rahul becomes an automatic selection.
