3 players who Lucknow Super Giants can use as Impact Player in IPL 2024

Lucknow Super Giants have earned their place as one of the contenders for the title with their consistent performances in the last couple of seasons. However, they would look to go beyond the playoff and make it to the finals. In this article, we will look at 3 players who can be used as impact players by Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2024. 

1. Yash Thakur

The 25-year-old fast bowler from Vidarbha was an unknown name at the start of the last season but by the end of it, he was one of the most important members of the Lucknow bowling unit. Thakur picked up 13 wickets in 10 matches to attract much praise from fans and pundits. He was used as an impact player on various occasions and the Super Giants can use him in the same role once again in the upcoming season. 

2. Ayush Badoni

Ayush Badoni has gained recognition because of his hard-hitting skills in the middle order. In the last couple of seasons, Lucknow has used this player in a very interesting manner. He is expected to evolve into a match-winner for the franchise as the player has the potential to do so. In the 2023 season, the franchise played him as an impact player in multiple matches and he will continue to be a possible impact player option. 

3. Amit Mishra

The experienced leg-spinner refuses to give up and continues to be a regular feature in the IPL. Amit Mishra proved his worth once again in the last season though he did not play too many matches. However, he did leave a mark in the limited opportunities that he was given by the team management. Amit Mishra played 7 matches for Lucknow in the last season and in some of those matches, he played as an impact player. The management can think of making him an asset for the team in the same role in the upcoming season as well.
