IPL 2025: Top 3 bowlers to watch out for in KKR vs SRH clash

Game no. 15 of  2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) Match 15 is between the Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad and will take place at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.  The season has started poorly for the reigning champions, who have dropped two of their first three games.

However, after getting off to a scorching start by thrashing 286 against the Rajasthan Royals, SRH has lost their last two games.  Both the teams were in the final of IPL 2024 and KKR won the title for the third time. For SRH this game will revenge for final of  IPL 2025.

1. Varun Chakravarthy

In KKR’s eight-wicket victory over the Rajasthan Royals in Guwahati, Varun Chakravarthy displayed his brilliance by taking out Wanindu Hasaranga and Riyan Parag while giving up only 17 runs in his four overs.  Since KKR will not have Mitchell Starc’s services with the new ball this season, he is the greatest asset in bowling.

2. Zeeshan Ansari

Zeeshan Ansari had a dream debut as he picked three wickets for DC. In his debut game against DC, he picked wickets of both the openers Jake Fraser-McGurk, Faf du Plessis, and KL Rahul. Batting first SRH could score only 163 runs. In reply to the target set by SRH, DC got off to a good start, at a time it looked like DC was going to chase down the target without losing any wickets. But in eight overs of the game, Pat Cummins introduced Zeeshan Ansari in the match. However, SRH had to suffer defeat in the game but Zeeshan Ansari’s bowling was effective for the team.

Pat Cummins bowling can’t underestimate. He always provides breakthroughs to the team. Bowling with the new ball in power play he is a constant threat for the batters. Even though he has got two wickets in three games his bowling helps the team to slow down and pace.
