On July 7, 1981, In Ranchi a small town of Bihar (now Jharkhand) a cricket legend was born. Today marks the 43rd birthday of Great Indian Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. In Test cricket, Dhoni’s contributions were equally significant. In Over 90 matches, he accumulated 4,876 runs with six centuries and 33 half-centuries, averaging 38.09. His decision to retire from Test cricket in 2014 marked the end of an era. It also started India’s golden run in Test cricket under the leadership of young Virat Kohli.
