What did Babar Azam say after defeating India?

At the end of the group stage matches, the Super Four battle is spreading heat in the Asia Cup. Pakistan beat India by 5 wickets in Super Four in Asia Cup. Along with that, after losing the first match in the group stage, Pakistan also took sweet revenge against their arch-rivals. Along with this, Team India tasted defeat for the first time in this year’s Asia Cup.

In the joy of victory, Babar revealed the secret of defeating India. The Pakistani captain said that Nawaz was dropped to number four because of certain thoughts. And he succeeded in that. Despite a slow start, Pakistan chased the big target of 182 runs. Although there is a chance of victory for both sides, in the end, Pakistan has laughed the last.

Regarding Nawaz, who dropped to number four and made 42 off 18 balls, Babar said, ”Nawaz always bats well. Then India was bowling with two leg-spinners. Seeing that, I sent Nawaz first. I am happy that the plan worked.”

The Pakistani captain also said, “I always like to keep things simple. Thanks to the whole team. They didn’t get pressured even though the opponent’s runs were big. They even fought till the end to win.”

Meanwhile, Babar specifically mentioned Rizwan-Nawaz partnership. According to him, it is this pair that eases their way to victory. So far, Babar couldn’t perform well with the bat in the Asia Cup. Many of the cricket analysts think that the Pakistan captain will soon find his rhythm with the bat.

On the other hand, the Pakistan team is now in a very cheerful mood after winning against India in the Super Four. Babar Azam’s team will face the Afghans on Wednesday. Besides, Sri Lanka will face Pakistan on Friday. The final will be held on September 11. Pakistan wants to forget the failure of the last tournament and win the Asia Cup this time. Can Babar Azam’s team do that? The answer will be found in time.
