Bangladesh played a warm-up match before the main phase of the T20 World Cup started. But the red and green team could not benefit in the preparation match. However, Bangladesh team cricketer Mosaddek Hossain said that they did not try less to win.
After the warm-up match, Mosaddek faced the media. He said, “From the coaching staff, everyone is helping. Now is the time to deliver. We need a winning moment. That will actually change the situation of the whole team. You are only seeing the results. Only we and the management know how hard we are trying to win. Those who are there can tell.”
He also said that the Bangladesh team is going through a bad time. “Impact and execution are good words in cricket. But I can’t execute. It’s hard to come back from 20 for 4 in the T20 format. It’s good to be able to stop the opponent for 160 runs. Wherever the game is, whoever the opponent is, we have to chase the run. Our time is going very badly. Now we have to stay together as a team.”
It is to be noted that Bangladesh will play directly in the main phase. Mosaddek expressed hope to overcome past failures and return to the rhythm. This all-rounder also believes that a victory will change the atmosphere inside the team.
