Virat Kohli opens up about the defeat against Pakistan

Virat Kohli scored a half-century in the Super Four match against Pakistan on Sunday. They also gave the opponent a big target of 182 runs. But all the arrangements were ruined. Indian bowlers flew in front of Pakistani batsmen. In the end, Babar Azam’s team won by 5 wickets.

Meanwhile, in the post-match press conference, Kohli said, “Mohammad Nawaz’s innings turned the game around. If he scored 20-25, it wouldn’t have mattered. But he scored 42. Such an innings makes an impact at crucial times. The pressure starts on us from his innings.”

Kohli also stood by Arshdeep Singh who dropped caught in the 19th over. He said, ”Any player makes mistakes under pressure. Such a big match, such difficult conditions. Our team environment is very good. Tomorrow we will all be together and laugh again. Seeing that, Arshdeep will surely be stress free. ”

About the bowlers, Kohli said, ”The wicket was better than the previous match. There was no dew. We played on a very fast wicket in the previous match. The one who understands the situation well here, wins the game.”

Praising the opponent, the Indian star said, ”I know Pakistan is a very strong team. Their bowling line-up is good. We understood that in the previous match. If two teams are good, then there will be a fight. We didn’t think we would win easily. Today they played better than us at the right time. ”

It should be noted that Kohli indicated that he will return to form in the Asia Cup. After a half-century against Hong Kong, he also got a half-century against Pakistan. His return to the run brought relief to Team India. India’s success depends on King Kohli!
