The cricketer of the month of January is Shubman Gill

Recently, Shubman Gill is having a good time in international cricket. As last year he got runs with the bat, this year his score has increased. Gill also had an eye-catching performance in the ODI series in January. He scored the first double-century of his career against the Kiwis. And on the occasion of this double century, he also created a record. Gill’s innings of 208 runs made him the world’s youngest player to score a double century in ODI cricket. He scored a century in the third ODI as well on the wait to become the man of the match in the ODI series.

Due to all his performances, Gill got an early chance for the ICC ‘Player of the Month’. Mohammad Siraj(Indian) and New Zealander Conway competed with him to become the player of the Month. But in the end, they failed to with against Gill. Gill won the ICC Player of the Month Award. He received this award for the first time.

Meanwhile, India will play the World Cup at home at the end of the year. Gill’s form before this tournament is surely good news for India.
