Finally, putting an end to all the speculations, the Major League Cricket (MLC) of the United States is going to be organized. The draft of this franchise-based T20 league will be held at the NASA Space Center this time. This draft will be held on March 11. The teams participating in the tournament will select the players from here. This has been confirmed by the tournament authorities.

Recently, the director of Major League Cricket, Justin Galle, spoke about the organization of the draft. He said, “This time, the US Major League Cricket draft will be held at the NASA Space Center. The teams will participate in the draft of this cricket league at the NASA Space Center Houston. And this event will excite the entire cricket world. We are working to make the whole thing a success. “

A total of 6 teams will participate in the first season of Major League Cricket. Teams are named after cities in the United States. The teams are Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington DC. Each team will have a maximum of 18 players. They can have maximum 7 foreign cricketers. The authorities are hoping that many star cricketers including foreigners will be found in this tournament.

Regarding the availability of star players, tournament director Justin also said, “Major League Cricket will have a bunch of young domestic cricketers. And we hope that the domestic cricketers will be accompanied by many big star players. This tournament in the United States will be a tournament that the United States has never seen before. Hopefully it will catch everyone’s attention.”
