India’s home ground against Sri Lanka has been a busy T20 series The first two matches were tied with one win each, and the third and final T20 match to tie the series was the series decider. However, the Indian cricketers played aggressive cricket in the series deciding match. Suryakumar Yadavra attacked the Sri Lankan bowlers from the beginning of the match. Chasing a target of 200 runs, India eventually won by 98 runs. Also, the hosts have taken the series by 2-1.

However, Suryakumar has played a major role in winning this series. In Rajkot, this Indian batsman has done a lot of violence with the bat. Fours after one – a stormy century with a flurry of sixes. He hit 7 fours and 9 sixes on his way to an innings of 112 runs off just 51 balls. However, more than the number of runs, Suryakumar’s 360 degree style of batting has spread more!

So, after the match, his teammate Yuzvendra Chahal expressed his satisfaction. After praising the batting, the Indian leg-spinner feels lucky to play in Suryakumar’s team. In this context, Chahal said, “Suryakumar is a batsman on another level. Watching him bat is really impressive. I feel lucky to play in a team with players like him.”

Meanwhile, as a result of Rajkot’s century, Suryakumar has brought several changes in the record book. He has scored 3 centuries in international T20 so far. Thanks to him, this right-hander came to number two in the list of batsmen who scored the most centuries. However, Glenn Maxwell, Colin Munro and Sabaon Daviji scored 3 centuries each. Highest 4 centuries, by Rohit Sharma.

In 2021, Suryakumar made his T20 debut in India’s jersey. This middle order batsman has shone in the light of the sun since he stepped into the international arena. As soon as he got the bat in hand at 22 yards, Suryakumar took all the exceptional shots. This time in Rajkot, he became the second fastest batsman to score a century for India by beating the Lankan bowlers. In a recent interview, Suryakumar said that he wants to maintain last year’s form in 2023 as well. This batter is walking in that way.
