South Africa’s shameful record in T20 again

South Africa has come to play a series against India before the T20 World Cup. Where Temba Bavuma’s team was supposed to shine with bat and ball, they had to fall into shame. They even set the record of losing the first five wickets for the least number of runs in T20.

However, this record was held by the Proteas even before entering the field in the first T20 against India. On December 16, 2007, South Africa lost 5 wickets for just 10 runs against the West Indies. He lost five wickets against India earlier. They lost five wickets after scoring only 9 runs.

South Africa played only 2.3 overs to get these 9 runs after losing five wickets. Arshdeep Singh, Deepak Chahar, the visitors cannot stand in front of the cannon. Renowned batsmen like Quinton de Kock, Temba Bavuma, Riley Russo, David Miller and Tristar Stubbs have returned to the dressing room, becoming failures.

But even after the last Indian Premier League (IPL), South Africa played impeccable cricket on Indian soil. Millers have also won the T20 series by playing brilliant cricket with bat and ball. But after a few months, the Proteas came back to visit India. But there is still a chance to turn around and show their best game in the remaining matches of the series.

Skipper Bavuma, however, said that “India’s tour is going to be tough”. Meanwhile, after winning the series with Australia, Rohit Sharma’s team India is in a very cheerful mood after winning the first match against South Africa. Rohit-Kohli is preparing for the World Cup by correcting the mistakes of the Asia Cup. However, Jadeja and Bumrah have been ruled out due to injury, and there is a concern in the Indian camp.
