Soumya-Sabbir got a call in the squad of Bangladesh Tigers

A few days ago, Bangladesh Cricket Board President Nazmul Hasan Papon announced the formation of a shadow national team with the cricketers who were dropped from the national team. This is an initiative to keep the cricketers who dropped out adequately prepared. A few days after Papon’s announcement, the work of forming a shadow national team was started. The team was named ‘Bangladesh Tigers’. In the first phase, the team camped in Bogra with 23 cricketers.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced the team for the second phase. This year’s camp will be organised with 29 cricketers who have been dropped from the national team. Naeem Islam, who performed brilliantly in DPL, got a place in this camp. Besides, two openers, Sadman Islam and Saif Hasan, who were dropped from the Test squad, are also in the squad. This team has also formed with Soumya Sarkar, Sabbir Rahman, Abu Zayed Rahi, Kamrul Islam Rabbi and others.

From May 27 to June 5, the Bengal Tigers cricketers will undergo fitness training at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. After that, skill training of cricketers will start from June 12 in Dhaka.
