All-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin and left-arm pacer Shariful Islam are two of the most important names in Bangladesh’s limited-over cricket. After a couple of days, the two will board a flight to the West Indies. The two cricketers are training hard in Mirpur before leaving the country for the Caribbean Island. They are also throwing challenges at each other to keep themselves energetic and lively in practice. Shariful threw a funny challenge to Saifuddin in the gap of such practice.

Saifuddin will have to take 9 runs from one over of Shariful. Shariful will bowl in the death overs. Fielders were at long-on, long-off, and mid-wicket. There were invisible fielders everywhere from the third man to the deep cover. Still, Saifuddin scored 9 runs making him a fool.

At the end of the practice, Shariful told that funny story to everyone. “I said during practice – today we will play like a match,” he said. “There are not many net bowlers here, so it takes less trouble. There were certain overs, there were certain runs. Saifuddin Bhai has won. In fact, we are always friends. We don’t take it as a challenge. We practice, and the one who performs well in the practice, gets a chance to play in the XI. So, I don’t think about who will play or not, ” he added.

Despite playing in New Zealand or South Africa, it is a new challenge for Shariful to play in the West Indies. However, this left-arm pacer wants to overcome that challenge by adapting to the conditions. Shariful also lamented the inability to play Tests against the Caribbean.

Shariful commented that the West Indies is a huge challenge. He thinks they have to bowl a little ahead compared to their country. First, they have to go and adjust. The sooner they go and adjust, the better for the team. He is very excited to play in West Indies. He remarked that he really wanted to play Tests in the West Indies.
