This year’s Asia Cup host is Pakistan. But if the Asia Cup is in Pakistan, India will not play there. It’s been a while since this venue has had issues. In the meantime, the Asian Cricket Council meeting has been held. It has been said that there will be no Asia Cup in Pakistan. However, the new venue will be announced next March. This time, former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi made new comments on India’s not taking part in the Asia Cup.

The Indian Cricket Board has said that India will not go to Pakistan to play in the Asia Cup due to political tension between the two countries. But on the counter, the Pakistan board said that if they were, they would boycott the ODI World Cup on Indian soil. However, former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi feels that Pakistan will not be able to retain this position.

Shahid Afridi believes the ICC, the highest regulatory body of cricket, may not be able to explain to the Indian Cricket Board in this regard. For this, Pakistan will have to make their own place first. You have to tighten their position. In an interview recently, Afridi said, “When you can create a strong position, you can make strong decisions. Otherwise, this is not the reality.”

Afridi added, “If the ground floor is not strong, it becomes very difficult. Many things will come out. Pakistan will have to think about this in the Asia Cup issue.”  India is now daring to say these things because they think the soil under their feet is strong. They have strengthened themselves. And that’s why they are talking like this. To make a difficult decision at the end of the day, you need to strengthen the ground floor first. “

Meanwhile, Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin commented that Pakistan did not dare that they would not play the World Cup on Indian soil. Ashwin believes that Pakistan will play the World Cup on Indian soil even if it says ‘no’. According to this all-rounder, Pakistan does not have the courage of India. This time, Afridi said that.

On the other hand, Babar Azam has also been clear recently that Pakistan will play the ODI World Cup on Indian soil. In an interview, Babar Azam said he was preparing for the ODI World Cup. The captain of Pakistan also commented that he wanted to give the team a taste of the World Cup title by doing his best.
