Russell – Narine came to Bangladesh in BPL 

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) knew that there would be a shortage of stars in the ninth edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). Of course, there are enough reasons for that crisis. South Africa’s SAT20 League and United Arab Emirates’ International T20 League are running concurrently with the BPL. But this time stars like Andre Russell, Sunil Narine are meeting at the end of BPL. BPL is more glamorous than the beginning with the presence of star cricketers.

Everyone knows that any franchise league means the reign of West Indies players. However, no big name came to play in the beginning of this year’s BPL. Where the previous seasons have seen star cricketers like Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard. This time too that demand is being fulfilled, but that is towards the end of the tournament. The Comilla team has informed that they have added Russell and Narain to the team. These two star cricketers have already set foot in Dhaka. That is why Mohammad Rizwan, Khushdil Shah, Nasim Shah, Hasan Ali are returning to the country. All of them are important cricketers of Comilla team. These players have made an important contribution to the victory of the team in almost every match.

Comilla did not start this year’s BPL very well. Losing the first three matches, the team went on the backfoot. But they have turned around from there.
