Prasidh Krishna’s IPL over due to injury

Injuries are the biggest enemy of cricketers in 22 yards. The pacer of Rajasthan Royals got injured before the start of IPL. Due to injury, Rajasthan team’s pacer worth 10 crore Prasidh Krishna was knocked out of the entire IPL. He said it himself through a tweet.

Through a tweet, Prasidh said, “Suffering due to injury. Can’t play cricket matches because of this. It’s getting difficult for me. But I hope to be back on the field again soon.”

This Indian cricketer has undergone surgery. Pictures of him lying in a hospital bed have also been published on social media. Although the surgery became successful, Prashad is yet to fully recover. According to the doctors, it may take 6 to 8 months to recover. And it will take several more days to get fully fit.

Meanwhile, this season’s IPL will be played on the ground next March. As such, he is no longer playing for his team Rajasthan Royals in the IPL. Rajasthan may apply for a new cricketer instead of Prasidh in this year’s IPL. However, the franchise has not yet said anything about it.

Rajasthan Royals bought Prasiddha for Rs 10 crore in the IPL auction last year. He was also in rhythm with the ball in that season. After a long gap of 14 years after 2008, Rajasthan reached the final of the IPL last season. However, in the final match, they lost to Gujarat Titans. But, Pradhan was one of the cricketers who contributed to take Rajasthan to the final.

He was one of the strengths of the team’s bowling attack. He took 19 wickets in 17 matches. That is why Rajasthan kept him in the team this year too. But due to injury, the team will not get him for the whole season.

Prashad suffered a back injury in September last year. He was playing for the Indian ‘A’ team then. He got injured before the match against New Zealand. Shardul Thakur was taken in the team instead of him. And since then, he has been outside the field. It is believed that he may not be able to play in the upcoming ODI World Cup.
