Pakistan is on a tour of Sri Lanka to play a two-match Test series. The team received bad news after reaching Colombo. One of the staff of the team was attacked by Covid-19 virus. Malang Ali was sent to isolation after tested positive for Covid-19 virus. He used to give massages to the players of the Pakistan team.

According to Sri Lankan rules, he has to stay in isolation for five days. On the last day, he will go through the rapid antigen method of the Coronavirus test again. He will be able to join the team only if the test report comes negative, the local news agency said.

Earlier on July 6, the Pakistan team left for Sri Lanka with 18 players and 13 members of the team management. Arriving there, according to the rules, everyone is tested for Covid-19. And then Pakistan gets this bad news. Of course, except for this one staff, everyone else on the team tested negative. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) told this to the media.

The two teams will face each other in the first match of the series on July 16. Pakistan is hoping that Malang will recover before the match. Pakistan will play a three-day warm-up match in Colombo from July 11 to 13.
