Not the double century, Ishan’s best moment in life was Dhoni’s presence

ডাবল সেঞ্চুরি নয়, ঈশানের জীবনের সেরা মুহুর্ত ছিলো ধোনির সান্নিধ্য

He has turned the first century of his career into a double century. He didn’t stop after scoring a century against Bangladesh, he scored a double-century. Ishan Kishan played a splendid inning of 210 runs off 131 balls in the series against Bangladesh. He became the owner of several records. But this brilliant inning is not the best moment of his life. This Indian cricketer told about the best moment of his life.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is one of India’s most successful and World Cup-winning captains. From cricketers to common people, he has many fans. It is proved that the current cricketer of the Indian national team, Ishan Kishan, is his big fan. Ishan met Dhoni face-to-face when he was only 18 years old. And this was the best moment in the life of this Indian cricketer. Ishan said so in an interview recently.

Ishan said, “I came to play cricket and got close to many star cricketers, but I collected someone’s autograph only once in my life. It was from Team India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. It was a memorable moment in my life. I was 18 years old. I saw Dhoni for the first time in front. So, I was bubbling with excitement. That was the best moment of my life, I’ve never forgotten the day. I have Dhoni’s autograph on my bat, just to think of it would have made a pleasure.”

Ishan Kishan has many similarities with the former captain of India. Both are from the same state, and both are wicketkeepers. Ishan played for India in Ranchi in October 2022. Then he played an inning of 93 runs. He, unfortunately, missed the century at that time. However, this explosive batsman of Team India came to the discussion after coming to Bangladesh by scoring a double century.

However, if he plays in the Ranchi field again in the future, this batsman’s voice is determined to make up for the incompleteness of the century. Ishan also said, “When I was growing up, Dhoni was a star in Indian cricket. Since then, he has been my role model, my everything. We have come from the same place in Indian cricket. Both of us played for Jharkhand. If I play in Rachi in the future, it will be great. Want to score big. Don’t want to fail this time.”

Ishan Kishan captained the Indian team in the ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup in September 2015. In 2018, this Indian wicketkeeper-batsman signed a contract in IPL for 6.2 crores of Indian currency. Mumbai Indians signed him for this price. He has played for Jharkhand since 2014. In domestic cricket, he also played for Gujarat Lions in 2016-17. Dhoni is a legend in Indian cricket, let’s see where Ishan Kishan takes himself at the end of his career.
