He started the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) a few days ago. And Quetta Gladiators are playing as one of the title contenders in this tournament. Jason Roy, the star cricketer of the team, also heard confident words. They will fight to win the title in this tournament. The English opener said that his team has all the ingredients to become champions.

Roy is pleased to play in PSL for Kuwait. He wants to bring success to the team by accompanying star cricketers like Martin Guptill and Wanindu Hasaranga. But Roy’s most enjoyable thing in this tournament is opening the innings with Guptill. Like the New Zealand opener Markute, Roy, on the other hand, is also good at scoring quick runs. Maybe that’s why Roy wanted the duo.

Roy expressed confidence in the team in the press conference, “We have formed an excellent team this time. There are world-class cricketers like Guptill-Hasaranga. They are very effective for T20. The local players in the team are also good enough. Suppose everyone can play the best cricket from their respective places. , this season we will be successful. I will play my best to bring the team a second title.”

However, to achieve this success, Roy wanted the support of the Quetta audience. He also thanked everyone for their constant support. Roy also said, “Thank you so much to all the fans of the Quetta team. Your support and love are always our strength to move forward. I hope you will support us this time too. We will not let you down.”

Although Quetta has already lost their first match, they lost by nine wickets against Multan Sultan. Despite starting well in that match, Roy could not play long innings. He scored 25 runs from 18 balls. Where he hit a six against three fours. However, the English star started the tournament with a goal, but it was only a matter of time to return to the winning streak. So let’s see if this English star can cover 22 yards of the field with the bat in PSL.
