India will whitewash Australia: Chappell

In this year’s Boarder-Gavaskar Trophy, the war of words started before the on-field action. From former Australian and Indian cricketers to journalists, everyone was involved in the debate. There is a reason for that. Discussions about India’s favored spin wickets has been accused heavily. Australia was caught by that whirlwind magic even after going down to the field. That’s why Ian Chappell fears that Australia can be whitewashes by India.

Chappell also talked about the batting of the Australian team. According to him, Australia has batted well in several sessions. In this context, Chappell also said, “The boys (Australian batsmen) are starting well. But they are not able to sustain that form. Shows brave cricket, but seems to be lost again. The work on the field is not going well as planned. That is why we have to be knocked out of the match again and again.”

Meanwhile, after losing the first two matches, Cummins said that they are falling out of the match due to some mistakes of their own. However, Australian captain said that he will try not to make those mistakes from the next match. The visitors’ third Test against India will begin on March 1, in Indore. Whether Australia will be able to turn around in that match is a matter to be seen now.
