Everyone in Bangladesh is capable of hitting four-sixes: Enamul Haque Bijoy

The time is now for T20 cricket. The demand for this format is increasing with time.

T20 is all about fast batting and four-sixes in a short period of time. Bangladesh was very hopeful from their debut in this format in international cricket. But the opposite has happened. As much as Bangladesh is ahead in one-day cricket, it is just as behind in T20 format.

Lack of power hitters in the team. However, Enamul Haque Bijoy, who returned to the Bangladesh team after a long time, thinks that everyone in the team has the ability to hit four-sixes. Now only that effort should be done in the field.

In an interview, Bijoy said,

“We have to understand which bowler to pick, which bowler to hit for singles, when to hit, when not to hit. All batsmen can hit more or less. They should be given time. It could be 10 balls or 3/4, if they try, every one of our players has the ability to hit four-sixes.”

Asserting that improvement is possible through practice, the Bangladesh wicketkeeper batsman added, “Improvement is possible through practice. Hopefully under this coach, Shakib Bhai, we will improve a lot in power hitting. It’s a matter of process, it won’t happen in a day. It will happen in 3 months, it will happen in 6 months. Believe that we can do this.”

Bijoy is currently in Dubai with Bangladesh to play the Asia Cup. It is believed that he will come down to open the innings for Bangladesh. Bijoy was seen practicing hard in the Dubai net to take advantage of the power play. He also published that picture on social media.

Much of Bangladesh’s good start is depending on Bijoy. Let’s see if he wins that challenge. The Bangladesh will be benefited. Bangladesh is facing Afghanistan on August 30.
