Ben Stokes’ England have already won the first two Tests of the series. This is the third and final test of the series. New Zealand’s fight to avoid shame. Shame on Whitewash.

In the beginning, it seemed that the Kiwis would be blown away by the pressure of the English bowlers in the mission to avoid that shame. However, Daryl Mitchell and Tom Blundell have been able to build resistance and keep pulling the Kiwis. At the end of the first day, New Zealand scored 225 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 90 overs.

On the last afternoon of the first day, two Kiwi middle-order batsmen Daryl Mitchell and Tom Blundell were unbeaten with a partnership of 102 runs. But before that New Zealand lost 5 wickets in just 123 runs.

England and New Zealand face off in the third Test of the series at Headingley, Leeds. Kiwi captain Kane Williamson won the toss. He decided to bat first.

But New Zealand was not at ease in batting. They lost opener Tom Latham (0) in the first over of the innings. Stuart Broad made him caught out in the first slip at the end of the over. from the Beginning the Kiwis were in danger of losing the wicket of Tom Latham.

That danger increases as they continue to lose wickets at regular intervals. Williamson and Will Young were playing carefully. Spinner Jack Leach broke their 35-run partnership in 67 balls. With the ball in hand in the 13th over, he trapped Young in the lbw. Will Young left the field with 20 runs.

At the end of 14 overs, New Zealand collected 40 runs for 2 wickets. Williamson was at 16 and Devon Conway was at 4.

Captain Kane Williamson was out for 31 runs. He left the field after caught out by Stuart Broad. He played a total of 64 balls to make 31 runs. He had 5 fours in his collection.

Devon Conway scored 26 runs. He was bowled out by Jamie Overton and returned to the dressing room. He spent a total of 62 balls. He had 5 fours in his collection.

Then Henry Nicholls was out for just 19 runs off 99 balls. He left the field caught out by Jack Leach. Alex Lees caught the catch.

Then Daryl Mitchell with 78 runs off 159 balls and Tom Blundell with 45 runs off 108 balls are batting unbeaten. Mitchell has hit six fours and two sixes so far. And Blundell has hit 5 fours so far.

In the current series against England, Daryl Mitchell and Tom Blundell have fought for the Kiwis. Daryl Mitchell has scored a century in the previous two Tests. He made 108 runs in the second innings of the first Test. He was unbeaten on 190 in the first innings and 62 in the second innings of the second Test.

Tom Blundell scored 96 in the second innings of the first test and a century in the first innings of the second Test. He was out for 106 runs. Once again, Daryl Mitchell and Tom Blundell took the helm of the Kiwis. It remains to be seen how far the two of them will go today.

Among the Englishmen, Stuart Broad and Jack Leach took 2 wickets each and Jamie Overton took 1 wicket.
