Dravid blames wicket for the loss against England

India lost to England in the T20 World Cup semi-final. Jos Buttler’s team just blew away Rohit Sharma in a 10-wicket win. And after that, analyzing the performance of the Indian team who were knocked out of the tournament is going on. What exactly causes such failure? Team India head coach Rahul Dravid answered this question.

Dravid blamed the wicket for the loss in the press conference. He said, “The boys said, when the game started, the pitch was a bit slow. England bowled well. They bowled well early on. They bowled in good places. We couldn’t get out of the shell. After 15 overs, we felt 15-20 runs short. But Hardik played brilliantly in the last five overs.”

Dravid also said, “Our performance in this tournament has not been too bad. Several cricketers have shown their skills. Everyone has seen what they can do. We had a bad day. That happens in T20 cricket. This loss in the semi-final is definitely very disappointing. We will review the performance.”

Dravid also said that they have to find their weaknesses in this World Cup and improve in those places. It is to be noted that India also suffered an extreme defeat in the previous T20 World Cup. India exited from the first round with a loss against arch-rivals Pakistan. Virat Kohli left the captaincy after a complete collapse in that World Cup. At the same time, the head coach Ravi Shastri also quit his job. What is going to happen with Rohit, can be known in time.
