The 4th day of the 2nd Test between Pakistan and West Indies rolled on the field yesterday. Let’s have a glimpse at the article to know about the exciting happenings of the days’ game.

WI vs PAK (2nd Test – Day 4)

In the second Test at Sabina Park in Jamaica, West Indies’ first innings was marred by a bowling attack by Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi. In response to Pakistan’s 302 runs, the Caribbeans got all out for just 150 runs. As a result, the visitors got a lead of 152 runs in the first innings.

Nkrumah Bonner scored the highest 37 runs for West Indies. 33 runs came from Blackwood’s bat. Besides, Jason Holder scored 26 runs. Shaheen Afridi has taken 6 wickets conceding 51 runs. Besides, pacer Mohammad Abbas took 3 wickets and Fahim Ashraf took 1 wicket.

Pakistan started to bat in ODI style in the second innings. They lost 6 wickets in 27.2 overs and declared the innings scoring 176 runs. Imran Butt scored 37 off 44 balls, Babar Azam scored 33 off 41 balls and Abid Ali scored 29 off 23 balls.

When Pakistan declared the second innings at 176, the West Indies got a target of 329 runs. The Caribbeans finished the fourth day with a collection of 49 runs for the loss of one wicket. Kieran Powell, who made 23 off 41 balls, was run out by Shaheen Afridi. However, Kraigg Brathwaite (17) and Alzarri Joseph (8) finished the fourth day remaining unbeaten on wickets.

West Indies need 260 runs and Pakistan need 9 wickets to win on the last day.
