Delhi Capitals has picked up a huge eight-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 33rd match of IPL 2021 at the Dubai International Stadium. After winning the toss and choosing to bat first, due to the Capitals bowlers’ fierce bowling the Sunrisers lost 9 wickets in 20 overs and managed to collect 134 runs.
Abdul Samad played the best innings of 28 runs for Sunrisers. Besides, Rashid Khan scored 22 runs and Kane Williamson and Wriddhiman Saha both played an innings of 18 runs. Kagiso Rabada took the most number of 3 wickets for the Capitals. Besides, Anrich Nortje and Axar Patel took two wickets each.
Batting for an easy target of 135 runs, the Capitals lost 2 wickets and wrapped up the match by winning with 13 balls to spare. Shreyas Iyer played unbeaten innings of 47 off 41 balls for the team. Besides, Shikhar Dhawan (42) and the captain Rishabh Pant (35) played a great inning. Rashid Khan and Khaleel Ahmed took one wicket each for the Sunrisers.
After winning this match, the Capitals have risen to the top of the points table. On the other hand, the defeated Sunrisers are still at the bottom of the points table.
