CPL 2021 – Match 28 (Barbados Royals vs Saint Lucia Kings)
In the 28th match of the CPL 2021, the Barbados Royals won by 8 wickets against the Saint Lucia Kings, thanks to the extraordinary all-around performance of Kyle Mayers. After losing the toss and batting first, the Kings lost 6 wickets in 20 overs and scored a big score of 190 runs.
Roston Chase played the highest innings of 56 runs from 38 balls for the team. Rahkeem Cornwall scored 40 and Andre Fletcher 31 runs. Mayers took the maximum number of 3 wickets for the Royals.
Chasing a huge target of 191 runs, the Royals reached the brink of victory by losing 2 wickets with 7 balls in hand. In 5 fours and 6 sixes, Mayers played 81-run unbeaten innings for the team playing 62 balls and this was the best innings for the Royals on the day. Glenn Phillips also played devastating 80-run unbeaten innings smashing 2 fours and 9 sixes with 39 balls.
Despite losing this match, Kings has secured the semi-final as the fourth team in the points table. On the other hand, despite winning the match, the Royals left the CPL 2021 as the last team in the points table.

CPL 2021 – Match 29 (Guyana Amazon Warriors vs Jamaica Tallawahs)
Guyana Amazon Warriors has defeated Jamaica Tallawahs by 14 runs in the rain-interrupted 29th match of the CPL 2021. Rain forced the match to get reduced to 18 overs. After winning the toss and choosing to bat first, the Warriors lost 7 wickets in 18 overs and scored 142 runs. With 7 fours and 6 sixes, Romario Shepherd played an unbeaten inning of 72 from 31 balls for the team. Imad Wasim took the maximum number of 3 wickets for Tallawahs.
Chasing the target of 143 runs, Tallawahs lost 6 wickets for 42 runs in 8 overs and dropped out of the match. In the end, Tallawahs got bowled out for 128 runs in 17.1 overs by the Warriors. Chris Green scored the highest 31 runs for the team. Romario Shepherd and Odean Smith took the highest number of 3 wickets each for the Warriors. Besides, Imran Tahir took 2 wickets.
The Warriors have secured their place in the semi-finals as the second team in the points table by winning this match. On the other hand, after losing the match, Tallawahs are out of the CPL 2021 as they stood as the 5th team in the points table.

CPL 2021 – Match 30 (St Kitts & Nevis Patriots vs Trinbago Knight Riders)
The Trinbago Knight Riders have got a win by 4 wickets in their last match in the group stage of the CPL 2021 against St Kitts & Nevis Patriots. The Knight Riders are the 1st team in the points table and the Patriots finished as 3rd team to secure the semi-finals.
After losing the toss, the Patriots batted first and scored 147 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Joshua Da Silva scored the highest 50 runs for the team. Sherfane Rutherford and Dwayne Bravo both played innings of 25 runs. Ali Khan took the maximum number of 3 wickets for the Knight Riders.
Chasing the target of 148 runs, the Patriots reached the port of victory by losing 6 wickets with 1 over in hand. In 3 fours and 5 sixes, Kieron Pollard played a stormy inning of 51 playing 22 balls for the team. Besides, Isuru Udana scored 25 off 16 balls. Fawad Ahmed took the highest number of 2 wickets for the Patriots.
The Trinbago Knight Riders will face the Saint Lucia Kings in the first semi-final tomorrow. Guyana Amazon Warriors will face St Kitts & Nevis Patriots in the second semi-final.
