CPL 2021 – Match 23 (Barbados Royals vs Trinbago Knight Riders)
The Trinbago Knight Riders have defeated the Barbados Royals by 6 wickets for the second time in the tournament. After losing the toss and opting to bat first, the Royals could score only 93 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Kyle Mayers top-scored for the team with 24 runs. For the Knight Riders, Khari Pierre took the highest number of 3 wickets. Akeal Hosein, Sunil Narine, and Jayden Seales each took two wickets each.
Chasing an easy target of 94 runs, the Knight Riders lost 4 wickets and reached the victory port with 19 balls in hand. Colin Munro scored the highest 41 runs for the team. Mohammad Amir and Joshua Bishop took two wickets each for the Royals.
The Knight Riders have risen to 1st place in the points table after winning this match and the Royals are still at the bottom of the points table after losing.

CPL 2021 – Match 24 (Saint Lucia Kings vs Jamaica Tallawahs)
In the 24th match of the CPL 2021, Jamaica Tallawahs won by 55 runs against Saint Lucia Kings. After winning the toss and choosing to bat first, Tallawahs lost all of their wickets in the allotted 20 overs and scored a huge 211 runs.
Kennar Lewis played the highest scoring innings for the team of 56 runs from 24 balls. Shamarh Brooks (34), Andre Russell (31), and Imad Wasim (27) also played three effective innings. Kadeem Alleyne and Jeavor Royal took 3 wickets each for the Kings.
The Kings batsmen started well to chase the huge target of 212 runs. They lost 2 wickets in just 8.1 overs and scored 104 runs. But then Carlos Brathwaite’s double hunt knocked the Kings out of the match. With 11 balls left in the innings, the Kings’ innings came to a halt after being all-out for 156 runs. Mark Deyal scored the highest 33 runs for the team. In addition, Roston Chase and Andre Fletcher both played an innings of 30 runs.
For the Tallawahs, Imad Wasim took three and Andre Russell and Carlos Brathwaite took two wickets each. Tallawahs has now risen to 3rd place in the points table after getting a triumph in the match and after losing, the Kings is in 4th place.
