Yesterday (Friday) Brisbane Heat and Adelaide Strikers met in the 13th match of BBL 2022/23. Batting first in that match, Brisbane hit set a target in the allotted 20 overs. But in the 2nd innings, Adelaide Strikers could not reach the target as the scheduled 20 overs ended. Also, after winning this match, Brisbane Heat is in the 4th place in the points table and Adelaide Strikers is in the 1st place after losing the match. Besides, Sam Billings won the man-of-the-match title for Brisbane Heat due to his excellent batting.

Brisbane Heat won the toss, elected to bat first, and invited the Adelaide Strikers to bowl. Batting first, Brisbane Heat’s players did not get off to a good start. 2 wickets fell for 12 runs.
