Barisal’s drama about Shakib after loss in BPL

বিপিএলে হারের পর সাকিবকে নিয়ে বরিশালের নাটক

Shakib Al Hasan has always been one of the best performers in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). This season is no exception. The world’s best all-rounder has been shining with bat and ball for Fortune Barisal since the beginning of the tournament. Shakib led the team to the last four. But in the end, Barisal lost in the eliminator match. After that, his team started dram about him.

Despite getting off to a good start against Rangpur Riders, Barisal failed to score runs in the end. Where again the wicket did not fall too much. But Shakib’s lack of batting has become a bigger talking point than the lack of runs. He has usually seen batting at number three. But as Shakib did not come to the crease after losing 3 wickets on the day, most of the spectators blamed him for the loss.

After that, a post was made on the official Facebook page Barisal about Shakib. There they wrote, “You are now in a good rhythm with the bat. Besides, you are quite an experienced player in BPL. You sent Vanuka Rajapakse to the crease after losing 3 wickets. The bowlers did well. But couldn’t save the last. Can you avoid the blame for this loss?”

However, the Barisal franchise authorities did not allow that Facebook post to last for long. In another post, they said, an unexpected post was made about Shakib by mistake. They said that this happened due to the negligence of the admin of the page. And expelling that admin, a show cause notice has been sent. But by that time the post spread on social media.

Barisal posted one more later. However, the team praised Shakib in that post. Calling their captain, the best, Barisal expressed their confidence to be stronger in the future. Barisal wants a better cricket gift from the world’s best all-rounder. The team also requested the audience to stand by their side. They also want to come back stronger in the next season. Shakib, however, has closed his mouth in this incident.
