Bangladeshi youth will play in Shoaib Malik’s team

Ariful Islam was one of the Bangladeshi performers in the last U-19 World Cup. This all-rounder also played a hundred runs innings against strong Pakistan in that World Cup. That performance earned Bangladesh’s Ariful a call-up to the country’s age-based franchise tournament, the Pakistan Junior League (PJL).

There was a total of four Bangladeshi names in the PJL draft. Only Ariful got team from there. Gujranwala Giants have taken this all-rounder from the draft. Former Pakistan star all-rounder Shoaib Malik is the mentor of the team.

Ariful will be the first Bangladeshi youth to play in this franchise tournament in Pakistan. This is good news for Bangladesh cricket as well as a great opportunity for the rising all-rounder’s career. So, the Bangladeshi youth all-rounder is very excited to get the chance to play under the all-rounder Shoaib Malik.

This youngster made his debut in Dhaka Premier League for Khelaghar Samaj Kalyan Samiti in List ‘A’ cricket. After that, this youngster stole all the limelight by scoring a century in the Youth World Cup. This cricketer is ready to perform with the bat in the Pakistan league as well.

It is to be noted that Pakistan is going to host age-based franchise league for the first time. Where a total of 140 emerging cricketers from all over the world will participate. This tournament of 6 teams will be start from October 6. The final of the tournament will be held on 11 October.
