Bangladesh women's cricket team wants to play the World Cup directly in the next season

Bangladesh women’s cricket team secured two tickets by defeating Thailand. The Tigresses have confirmed the ticket for next year’s T20 World Cup along with the qualifiers final on September 25.

However, Bangladesh’s women’s cricket team wants to play directly in the main stage of the World Cup instead of qualifying. This is what the captain of Bangladesh women’s cricket team Nigar Sultana said.

Niger Sultana is excited to confirm the next World Cup. However, she also said that she does not want to play qualify for the next World Cup in this way.

Nigar said, “We are happy to qualify for the World Cup. What is more than happiness, the team deserved it. The coaching staff has been very supportive. But I would like to not have to go to the World Cup by playing the qualifiers like this. The team’s players also agree with this idea. We deserve the opportunity.”

Note that Nigar-Salmas defeated Thailand by 11 runs in the semi-finals of World Cup qualifiers. Bangladesh will face Ireland in the final of the qualifiers on September 25. Bangladesh is a one-time runner-up and two-time champion of the World Cup qualifiers so far.
