Women's World Cup 2025: Predicting Australia XI for match 17

Australia and Bangladesh will clash in the 17th match of the ongoing ICC Women’s World Cup 2025. This match will be played at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam, on October 16, 2025.

Australia are at the top of the Women’s World Cup 2025 points table with three wins from four games and seven points to their name. They are full of confidence, having defeated hosts India in their previous match in a thrilling encounter. They will be facing a Bangladesh team down on morale after a narrow loss to South Africa.

Here is the predicted Australia XI for match 17 for the Women’s World Cup 2025:

She will be partnered at the top by Phoebe Litchfield, who has scored 95 runs at an average of 31.66 in three games, including the best score of 45. Ellyse Perry might miss this match after suffering an injury against India, leading to Beth Mooney moving to the no. 3 spot. She has scored 125 runs at an average of 41.66, including one century, and a best score of 109.

Middle Order: Heather Graham, Annabel Sutherland, Ashleigh Gardner

Heather Graham is a new name in the Australian Women’s team and has played only one ODI. Annabel Sutherland has been in top form with the ball, as she has taken 10 wickets at an economy of 2.96, with the best bowling figures of 5/40.
