16 countries will participate in the eighth edition of the T20 World Cup starting on October 16. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has sold tickets for this year’s World Cup to five lakh cricket fans.

It is expected that the number of spectators of the men’s World Cup will surpass those of the 2020 Women’s World Cup. The gallery of the 2020 Women’s Twenty20 World Cup final match was full of 86 thousand 174 spectators. The stadium will be full of spectators for the first time after the Women’s World Cup as the Corona situation is normal.

India-Pakistan match is one of the high voltage matches of the World Cup. Cricket lovers are eagerly waiting for this match. So, all the tickets for the match are sold out within the moment of ticket release. These two superpowers will meet on October 23. After extra-standing tickets were released, fans rushed to buy them. They also sold out as soon as they were released.

Bangladesh-South Africa will meet on October 27. According to the information of ICC, all the tickets for this match are sold out within moments. However, the ICC has also said that additional tickets will be released considering the fans.

ICC is impressed by the excitement of the audience. In a statement, the ICC said, “ We are delighted by the uptake of tickets for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup with over 500,000 already being snapped up. The excitement is building with just over a month to go, and this World Cup is unmissable. “
