Shakib is currently in the West Indies to play in the Caribbean Premier League. So instead of Shakib, the team will be led by the team’s wicketkeeper batsman Nurul Hasan Sohan. Both matches will be held at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
The red and green team will play the first match in the desert country on September 25 and the second match on September 27. The Bangladesh team will play these two matches as a preparation for the World Cup.

After the Dubai phase, the Bangladesh team will go to New Zealand to play the tri-nation series. Team Bangladesh will play a tri-nation series with New Zealand and Pakistan there. Tiger captain Shakib will join the team there.
It is to be noted that Nurul Hasan Sohan could not play in the last Asia Cup due to injury. But Sohan has recovered from the injury. So, he returned to the World Cup squad.
