The Indian team had a successful T20I series against England, winning it by a margin of 4-1. The fans got to witness several match-defining performances with both bat and ball, However, fielding is another aspect which cannot be neglected. The players managed to save crucial runs and take important catches, making sure the England batters never got away.

As is the ritual within the Indian dressing room, the best fielder of the match or the series is presented with a medal for their efforts. The Indian fielding coach T Dilip conducted the proceedings for the Impact Fielder of the Series award which was given to the player who showed the most consistency throughout the five matches. T Dilip also acknowledged the hard work of some of the players including Varun Chakravarthy who had shown improvement on the field. Dilip, then, gave the honour to T20I skipper Suryakumar Yadav to present this medal to the winner.

The T20 World Cup 2024 winner took a whole round of the dressing room, teasing Varun Chakravarthy for a bit but eventually gave the medal to Dhruv Jurel who also looked surprised at the end and was speechless after receiving it from the T20I skipper. The players also cheered for Jurel.
