England Women registered a clinical nine-wicket victory over West Indies Women in the second T20I at Hove. Notably, the hosts have already gained an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.

However, a moment which is now going viral took place in the fourth over that caught significant eyeballs. Sophia Dunkley pulled off a brilliant one-handed catch to dismiss Zaida James. With West Indies struggling at 17/2, left-hander James stepped down the track to a length ball from Em Arlott and tried to smash it over mid-on.

Although she mistimed the shot and hit it towards short midwicket. Dunkley, stationed at that position, ran to her left and pulled out her left hand to get hold of the ball. The catch saw James walk back after six runs to the tally.

Meanwhile, in the game, the visitors managed to post just 81/9 in their 20 overs, with only Shemaine Campbelle (26) showing some fight. Arlott was the pick of the bowlers. Playing just her second international game, she removed Hayley Matthews, James, and Stafanie Taylor, ending with figures of 3 for 14 from her four overs, which included 18 dot balls. Lauren Bell also looked brilliant with the ball in hand, also picking a three-wicket haul.

Chasing a mere 82, England made it look easy, despite losing Danni Wyatt-Hodge to the first ball. Captain Nat Sciver-Brunt hammered an unbeaten 55 off 31 balls, while Dunkley added 24*. The pair stitched an 82-run stand for the second wicket, finishing the chase in just 9.2 overs.
