The Mumbai Indians family bid adieu to the likes of Ryan Rickelton, Will Jacks, and Corbin Bosch, who are international bound. The three overseas stars will miss the remainder of the season for the 5-time champions for taking part in the WTC final between Australia and South Africa, and England’s limited-overs series against the West Indies, respectively.

After the 69th match of the IPL 2025 between PBKS and MI, Mahela Jayawardene spoke on behalf of the management, players, and the support staff to bid adieu to three of their top players. The MI Head Coach wished luck for Bosch and Rickelton for their one-off Test match against Australia in the WTC Final of the 2023-25 cycle.

Jayawardene claimed that the duo contributed well to the team and added that the 5-time champions would miss them in the squad for the playoffs. The former Sri Lankan wished luck for Jacks for being called up by the English side after a long time.

Jayawardene claimed to be proud of Jacks and advised him to maintain his attitude. The former T20 World Cup winner added that all three of Rickelton, Jacks, and Bosch have great attitude and claimed them to be brilliant in contributing for the team. He wished them luck and patted them on their shoulders to bid them adieu.

While Jayawardene and the support staff members hugged Bosch, Kieron Pollard, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, and Rohit Sharma hugged Jacks. Trent Boult and Mitchell Santner wished luck to Rickelton for his campaign in the WTC Final. Bosch, Jacks, and Rickelton proceeded to sign a jersey for being a part of MI’s 2025 class of players.

The trio packed their bags, boarded the team bus, and thanked the fans for supporting them as a final message before their departure. MI will play the Eliminator after losing to the Punjab Kings in their last match in the league stage of the IPL 2025. They could miss the services of the trio in the big matches.
