Kyle Jamieson trapped Rajat Patidar dead in front during the IPL 2025 final between Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Patidar had to walk back to the shed after registering 26 off 16.

As far as the league phase is concerned, both sides ended up with 19 points under their belt. PBKS clinched first position due to a superior net run rate than their opposition (+0.372 vs +0.301). Both sides won nine, lost four, and had one game end up as a no-result due to inclement weather. The ongoing contest is PBKS and RCB’s first final in the T20 league since 2016 and 2014, respectively.
