India’s opening batter KL Rahul faced a painful moment during the second Test against West Indies on October 13 at Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. India were chasing a modest target of 121 runs to seal the two-match Test series and strengthen their position in the World Test Championship (WTC) points table.

In the fourth innings, Jayden Seales bowled a back-of-a-length delivery with extra carry on the third ball of his over. Rahul, surprised by the bounce, was struck directly around the groin area and fell onto his knees, grimacing in pain. The Indian physio Kamlesh Jain quickly rushed onto the field to assess the injury. The minor setback caused a short delay, but after a breather, the batter returned to the crease, adjusted his protective gear, and resumed batting.
