Virat to resume IPL 2025 with an aim to win

Though the 36-year-old won’t be a part of the Test team anymore as they prepare for the five-match tour to England, he will still be a part of the limited overs’ set-up. He will be featuring in the remainder of IPL 2025 for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), as the tournament is now set to resume following a brief suspension of ten days.

Notably, Virat has been among the top run-scorers in the 18th season of the league so far with 505 runs in 11 innings. In the Orange Cap race, he is only behind Suryakumar Yadav, who has 510 runs for Mumbai Indians in this edition of the grand tournament. Virat will look to surpass the MI batter when he takes on Kolkata Knight Riders in the first game after resumption on May 17 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.
