Punjab’s top-order batter Anmolpreet Singh has made history after he recently hit the third-fastest List A century, in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024. He completed his ton in just 35 deliveries, which put him at No. 3 on the all-time list. Only Jake Fraser-McGurk (29 balls) and AB de Villiers (31) are ahead of him.

Anmolpreet Singh walked out to bat at No. 3 against Arunachal Pradesh at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. He completed his ton with 11 fours and eight sixes. He went on to score 115* runs in 45 deliveries and helped his side chase down the target successfully.

It is worth noting that apart from Anmolpreet, AB de Villiers broke the record for the quickest List A century when he scored 149 in 44 balls for South Africa against West Indies in Johannesburg in January 2015. Speaking of Anmolpreet Singh, the batter has gained some much-needed attention.
